Hey, everyone!
I'm living in Veliko Tarnovo - the source of the European culture, which used to be the Medieval capital of (one of) the most ancient, culturally and naturally beautiful country in Europe - Bulgaria.
If you have some free time, need to recover, need to meet cool people, want to learn and see something about history - here's the place - land of mighty kings, historical battles, ancient monuments and culture.

Born & raised in West Virginia, USA (East Coast) and NO… we are not part of Virginia. We formed our own state in 1860's to avoid becoming a Confederate State during the Civil War. At age 23 I joined the US Navy and had the chance to travel the world. Spent a lot of time in the Caribbean (Cuba, Puerto Rico), France, Italy, Turkey, Morocco, Israel, UAE, PI, just to name a few. One time I spent 2 weeks on different airplanes and flew around the world twice, never disembarking except to change aircraft while on the airstrip or ship. Sounds gross? It was! Was only able to shower while aircraft was on the ship. Got stinky after a while (shudder).
So, I've been around. But I moved back to my hometown. Was missing the mountains!
