Anyone ever meet such situation? unfinished downloading torrent for a year?

i mean i should appreciate if someone share/upload an amazing torrent….....but i think that guy stopped seeding after 24hrs since he posted it...........so i kinda waited for his comeback for almost a year......but nope......nothing happened........i feel i can never finish downloading that torrent
as no one has snatched it
