I'm genuinely curious if people are having a competition to see who can get banned the fastest. You only left it 4 hours after joining the forum to try.

I think many people are unaware of this rule. Perhaps there could be a splash page before a person creates a new forum post (or makes their first forum post) that mentions this. While such a thing shouldn't be necessary, it might help prevent some of this stuff from being uploaded. It could also prevent any potential hurt feelings on the part of the contributor if they feel publicly reprimanded. I can imagine, though that the software implementation might be clumsy and time-consuming.
On a vaguely related note, which perhaps belongs in its own thread, it seems that the forum is mostly [forbidden] upload requests, or "who is the guy in this picture" requests. I would like to see more diverse topics such as,
- What's you favourite porn film/clip, and why?
- What were the circumstances of your first male-male encounter?
- Where's the strangest place you've had sex?
- What was your funniest sexual experience?
I realize that standard "netiquette" would dictate that I answer each of these for myself (which I'd be happy to do), but that's going very far off-topic.

@frostycab I think it's just that most people don't even bother reading the rules or are interested in knowing it, so with lots of new users coming in it's sort of expected (not that it's okay). Understandably it could feel intuitive to come into a torrent site assuming requesting content is normal—which at one point here was indeed normal before the changes (long-time users, y'all surely remember that forum thread specifically for requests?)
The rules need to be even more 'in your face' to get people's attention, to the point of being intrusive maybe? Idk... In the end, people are not gonna read if they don't want to, just like most probably won't read my little wall of text here

not even the mods are as annoyed as some of you are about those requests.
if people started actually fulfilling those requests instead of posting a premade reply 15 seconds after the topic is created, someone would already have thought of a better way to prevent those kinds of topics.
