Two jokes from/about Canada/
Many places in Canada have aboriginal names: Ottawa is Ojibwe for 'Merchant", Saskatchewan is Cree for "Swift Flowing River". Ontario is Wyandet for "Large Lakes", and Winnepeg is Algonquin for "Fuck it's cold".
–-------------------------
But the word Canada is actually derived from Spanish.
When the Spanish came to the Americas they discovered the Empire of the Aztec with their great cities, silver, jade, and gold.
Then they sailed south and around and discovered the Empire of the Inca with their great cities, silver, and gold.
So they decided to head north.
They found: snow, rocks, snow, trees, ice, and more snow. They didn't find any cities. They didn't find any silver much less gold.So they said, <<que nada!="">> Let's go home.</que>
