@gentlegiant5 They're all being seeded, so I don't see the issue. Iff you're hoping to make them busier then you can request freeleech for almost-dead torrents at AT RISK torrent thread - "official"

For ones that ARE actually dead there is a "Request reseed" button on the torrent page which sends a request to everyone who has snatched the torrent in the past. which is going to be much more effective than asking in the forums that are only used by a fraction of the community. Due to that I believe there may be a rule that reseed requests aren't actually allowed on the forum.

@frostycab Thank you for this and i managed to download the files overnight. Apologies for the term used as I haven't been here in months and so are those torrents that have been stuck on my uTorrent. Thank you again for reminding me. 🙂

@gentlegiant5 You may have been able to download them because I joined the three swarms. Two started downloading to me virtually immediately. The third was complete when I woke up.

I have a facility with my VPN called "port forwarding". It's important that at least one person in a swarm has it. That's often why torrents that show one or two seeders won't actually upload for you.
Since setting port forwarding up, this happens to me a LOT less often. (As in, I can't actually think of a time when it has.) I'm also able to seed stuff where I'm the only seeder, whereas previously people had been trying unsuccessfully to leech for ages.

If your VPN provider has this, set it up. If it doesn't, next time you renew consider switching to one who does. If you don't use a VPN, you can set up port forwarding for yourself.

Other opinions are also available. They're not right, obviously, but they are available.

@Kevin4fm Yes, I am using a VPN. However, I have checked online and mine does not support 'port forwarding' unfortunately due to security risks.

So far, I've been able to download files smoothly. Maybe i'm having problem mostly with old files.

Yeah, the older the torrent the less likely it is to have many seeds. Also, many uploaders feel it necessary to include a great deal of images in their torrents, and/or are not that diligent with giving meaningful video file names. This greatly reduces the chance that other members still have the original torrent fully intact and structured how it was grabbed.

Still, it is worth trying both of @frostycab 's suggestions. If the torrent has only one or two files, a "Reseed Request" may be very easy for someone to accommodate. For larger ones, the AT RISK torrent thread - "official" may get it freeleeched if it qualifies. Knowing quite a few other members will want to then grab it makes it a far more attractive proposition to a previous downloader to reconstruct it.
