Discussion about How to find out the Sexual Orientation of Someone in Your Life

I am pretty new to the forum. If I break any rule of the or say anything that offends to anyone, please let me know. Thank you.

So let's get started. I am a bi (more of the gay side) chaser who came to Canada from China 7 years ago. I've always been obsessed with white, mid-weight, round (like 5'7", 200lb, that kind of ratio) chubs, especially daddies. There have been a lot of those kind of people showed up in my life since I've come to Canada. Some of them were just passing by, some of them are strangers encountered in coffee shops/restaurants, some of them were coworkers, some of them were classmates, and some of them are even friends. Every time I saw them, I always hoped that one day something will happen, and eventually fall in love with each other. But the thing is, I came from a place with conservative culture background. I am not comfortable with telling anyone that I am bi or gay without knowing that they are. I am afraid of being made fun of, or even being discriminated, which can totally ruin my whole life. Therefore, I come up with questions of:
1. is there any way you can find out if people round you are gay;
and
2. how do I approach to them if I did find out or I think they are gay?
