Whenever I attempt to load a torrent I get error dialogs.
Clicking the torrent file brings up
Failed to load the torrent: "[torrent path/torrent name.torrent]"
Error: File open error. File: "[torrent path/torrent name.torrent]"
Error: "Access is denied."Adding the torrent file from my client (qBittorrent) brings up

Contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permission. This issue is very recent, within the past three days. Can anyone help me resolve this?
Thank you.

@hypir This is usually a sign of a file permissions issue, usually with the folder that the .torrent file is contained in. What OS are you using where you are getting this error? This will make a difference on what permissions are needed for the folder and the .torrent file itself. If the permissions are set on the folder correctly, then they should be inherited by the .torrent file when it is downloaded, thereby being allowed to be opened within the torrent client.

Running on Windows 11. I don't know what permissions to change in the default "Downloads" folder.

@hypir You need to make sure that the user account you are using on your PC (whether a Microsoft Account or a local user account) is the owner of folder AND that it has full access to the folder. As long as these permissions are set, you should be good.
If it still fails after doing this, then it may be the folder where torrents are stored for torrents that are in your torrent client that needs to be adjusted.

The problem has resolved itself after the site update [Looks awesome!]. Everything is working fine so far. Though I still went to the folder properties and checked what I figured was full access for all files.
Thank you for your attention to the matter.
