@Supergey I've not noticed any issues today from my side. Is this when viewing the new site layout, the old one, or both? Have you tried switching between the two views to see if thee's a noticeable difference?

If you don't yet have access to the new layout, there's a "sneak peek" link in this thread: https://community.gaytor.rent/topic/68954/how-do-i-make-the-new-layout-permanent

@Supergey OK, same as I'm viewing. As I said before, I'm seeing no issues. The usual checklist I go through in these circumstances is:

            • Is it just this site? All sites? Some sites?
            • Clear your browser cache - ideally for just this website, or bite the bullet and clear the lot!
            • Properly sign out, close your browser, and try again from scratch
            • Do you have a second browser you can try to view it in? If so, is the issue the same?
            • Revert to the old site to see if you have performance issues there

No guarantees any of these will have any effect, of course, but all worth a try to at least eliminate some possibilities.

@idumy Understood, but I genuinely don't - as a rule - suffer any noticeable delay or slowness.

                Two exceptions:

Initial site entry. There is usually a very slight delay when I first enter the site. This is generally no more than a second or two, and is no different to other sites I visit where the initial page I'm loading contains a great deal of dynamic information - i.e. lists of many different torrents which are constantly changing. Even then, it's certainly far quicker than sites like my utilities providers, who immediately take me to my "Account" page but then spend what feels like an eternity displaying "Please wait while we retrieve your data".

Capacity Issues: I do, more frequently here than on most sites, get the "Cloudfare" notice, advising maximum capacity has been reached. Please wait a bit then try again." It's rare that this doesn't disappear when I refresh a few seconds later.

My point is this. I have no super-duper advantage. I don't have a huge number-crunching capacity on my desktop PC (though it is gamer spec., so possibly a little more than many). I employ no special graphics accelerator or other fine-tuning background apps to help overcome issues or limit bottlenecks etc. As far as I'm aware, in this respect I'm just a regular user.

So if, with no special accommodations, the site performs well for me, it suggests that there are no inherent issues with the site itself, so further suggests that any difficulties experienced may be coming from the user side.

This doesn't, of course, explain why it's only this site you're having problems with, but it would certainly be worth trying a few things to eliminate them as possible causes. For example:

                • Clear your cache for this site. It's actually a good idea to clear this for all sites, now and then, , and accept there will be a short period where it wil take very slightly longer to display images, etc., in sites you visit regularly while the cache is rebuilt.

                • Try a different browser. Although every browser is supposed to interpret the code it's given in exactly the same way, in accordance with agreed international standards, the reality is that there are always slight differences. (I'm currently using Vivaldi, but have no issues when I use Firefox instead.)

                • Take a look at your browser settings. I have a nagging memory of a setting which basically says "load the layout and the text first, then go back and load the images in the reserved spaces next". That may be something that doesn't apply any more, or maybe never did and I'm just mixing up half learned stuff floating around in my memory.

                • Try turning your VPN off. (Obviously, pause your torrent client before doing this.)

Will any of the above, or other things that might occur to you, solve the problem? Probably not, but at least you'll have ruled them out.

Of course, it's entirely possible that there is some underlying hurdle, and I'm just extremely lucky in having accidentally avoided a problem I didn't even know existed.
