I don't think that paying for the Steele Dossier was a crime. I think the crime came from lying to the FBI about where it came from.
Of course, once the FBI got it, they committed several crimes, including lying to the FISA court.

Yet she, having undermined democracy & fueled division & helped Putin & lied to Law Enforcement & having massively, massively wasted LE's time & time of entire USA.............. she was........ wait for it......... allowed to settle with small fine. Which media barely reported.

@blablarg18 Cohen was Trump's lawyer on retainer. A retainer is paid for the services, advice, etc. of a lawyer which is typically paid in advance for future unforseen events and not for any specific actions.
Cohen is the one that gave Daniels the money, not Trump. It was Cohen's idea to make the payoff to prevent Daniels from interfering with Trump's 2016 campaign. Cohen has also been convicted of perjury in that matter, and disbarred. The only person who committed a crime is Cohen. Trump did not come up with the idea, Trump didn't order Cohen to do it.As members of Gaytor.Rent, we should all learn from Trump's problems, and how to avoid them. Hell, there haven't even been Grand Juries formed to investigate the "election fraud"Because the ONLY fraud claims are coming fro people who lost in 2020 and can't stand to think about it.
I still ask: if the POTUS election in 2020 was fraudulent, what about all the down-ballot items? THEY were OK?
