@jokuihmemies make sure the torrent is still alive and healthy. if it is then its likely something on your end. do the basics, restart program / pc... maybe restart the torrent.

        Invalid state:

        • Interrupted Download: The download process might have been interrupted unexpectedly (e.g., due to a power outage, system crash, or network disconnection). This can leave the downloaded files in an incomplete or corrupted state.

        • File Movement or Renaming: If you've moved or renamed the downloaded files or the download folder outside of the torrent client, the software can lose track of them, leading to this error.
Disk Errors: Problems with your hard drive can cause data corruption, resulting in an invalid download state.

        • Incompatible Software: In rare cases, other software interfering with the torrent client's access to the files can cause this issue.

        • Client Restart: Sometimes, the error appears after restarting the torrent client, indicating that it couldn't properly resume the previous state.

        • Network Issues: Intermittent network problems could disrupt the download and lead to an inconsistent state.

        Invalid Data:

        • list itemCorrupted Download: Pieces of the file might have been downloaded incorrectly due to network issues, peer problems, or interruptions.
Disk Errors: As mentioned before, hard drive problems can lead to data corruption after it has been downloaded.

        • Incomplete Download: The error might appear if the download is significantly incomplete.
Problems with Part Files: Torrent clients often use temporary "part files" during the download process. Errors with these files can sometimes lead to "data is invalid" messages.

        • Skipping Files During Download: If you chose to skip certain files within a torrent, it can sometimes cause issues with the integrity of the downloaded parts of the other files.

        • Corrupted Torrent File: Although less common, a corrupted torrent file could provide incorrect data for verification.

@jokuihmemies his comment does not mention or imply any download error, only that the torrent contains incomplete files. if you are having issues to download it you should consider downloading with a different client.

Usually invalid download state means that the torrent ran into an error the last time you had your torrent client open, usually that there are file(s) supposedly missing. Data is Invalid is usually a sign that when it completed a file, it did not remove the .!ut from the end of the file name, so it thinks the file is not there, as it was reported as 100% downloaded, but the file was not renamed to remove the partial status from the end of the file name.

In both cases, Force Re-Check, then starting the torrent will fix this.
