videos locking up... lately

I have noticed that videos are locking up on me lately.. and I think the reason is that the November 2024 version of POTPLAYER is buggy.

@lololulu19 ... I have tested 32 bit w/ no issues ...
The only thing I dislike is skipping video instead of playing next directory ... -
@john32123666 I never had a problem with Potplayer before.. and it is the player I almost always use.. but this latest 64 bit one is locking up every few minutes. Videolan isn't locking up (VLC)

uninstall your version if 64 bit and re-install
or try 32 bit no issues ...
https://potplayer.daum.net/also uninstall your VLC to avoid codec conflict ...

CORRECTION!
It was not Potplayer locking up..
It is my external hard drive locking up. The data is not corrupt, but the drive is choking on it. I moved the data from the drive where it was locking up to another drive, and it plays fine.
