Why Am I not seeding like before?
-
I recently had to switch to a new wireless FIOS router. Since the switch, when I'm downloading sometimes upload seeding won't even start... even though there are a ton of people still leeching a particular file. My ratio has dropped significantly because it barely seeds if at all, I'm currently using folx.
For reference before the router switch when I downloaded something, seeding started automatically and often times matched the download rate. So by the time whatever file was downloaded, it had share ratio of 1.0 or more. Again, now it barely seeds or won't even start seeding at all (even if there are people leeching).
I hope I'm saying all this correctly.
Can anyone make suggestions how to fix it the seeding. -
@MuscleLv1972 This sounds like a port forwarding issue. For proper upload results, you need to make sure the port your torrent client uses is forwarded through your home router to your computer, both in TCP and UDP in order to get proper upload traffic.

@MrMazda thanks for the input. I have no idea how to do that? I guess I'll do some research on it. Thank again.

@MuscleLv1972 We recommend checking out portforward.com

@MrMazda Thanks! That did the trick.
