Is Utorrent being phased out?

I don't trust any version of Utorrent other than 3.5.5 build 46606 - and even that one has bugs.
Some people refuse to update past the ancient version 2.2.1
It seems that all versions of 3.6.x are either buggy, or are unusable because they are seen as a virus.
Is it time to put Utorrent to bed? I still use it, but it kicks me in the ass a lot.

No, however dl link from old versions are dead and are infested w/ bundle of malwares ...

@john32123666 Yeah... that's why I got a clean copy and put it on my server so that when people need it, they can download it from me haha.

The current 3.6.x build and I suspect that all 3.6.x builds are considered to be malware and blocked / removed. -

No ... utorrent has too many updated versions, however their apps are altered w/ p.u.p and non official ...

and it is rare to find a clean one aside from v 2.2.1 - 3.0 -
Many moons ago, I went from v2.2.1 to v2.4.x and hated it.
Thankfully I have copies of my old software that I trust so I was able to revert back to v2.2.1. I have been using that ever since.

@raphjd Utorrent 2.2.1 is over 13 years old. I have a rule that I will not run any software that is too old for Hunter Biden or Rob Reiner.
By the way.. Windows 12 was supposed to have been released about 6 months ago.

I don't know about utorrent, but I am using bittorrent right now and it is working fine.
