How to download Youtube videos?

All the while, i have been using Firefox with addon AntVideo to download all bodybuilding videos from youtube with ease. But since couple months ago, it is not working anymore and I think Youtube did something to their backend to disallow ppl downloading their videos. So, Im here seeking help from anybody especially those computer geeks to suggest a way to continue downloading youtube videos. TQ

I use Viddly YouTube Downloader ( https://viddly.net/eng12 ) which works really well. There's a very well-featured free version, and also a paid version (which I have) that does even more.
One nifty thing about it is that if you have it enabled as a Windows startup process, any time you copy a YouTube URL to the clipboard, it will automatically start and it's just one click to do the download. (This feature can be disabled.) There's also a Mac version, which probably has similar functionality.

@eobox91103 , thanks guys. I really like to watch and download bodybuilding videos. It sucks that youtube have been trying to stop ppl from downloading their videos. None of the addons on firefox browser are able to do the job. Hope the software you mentioned still works well as now.

@amelia hey, do you ever heard about internet download manager (IDM) i used it for more than 10years, works well on firefox and chrome, it offer free trial but i personally used crack version hahaha

Ctrl-C on a Youtube URL, start 4k app, hit its "Paste Link" button - it guides you the rest of the way.
