One of the counts was for having an affair. Talk about stooping so low.
The verdict was along party lines, except 2 Repubs in traditionally Dem seats sided with the Dems.

Paxton was key for challenge to Dem 2020 election fraud & will continue to be.

you noted where 2 Repubs still voted to impeach Paxton, but many Repubs more, voted yes initially or cheered Dem lawfare.

Pre-impeachment, Paxton was looking at voter fraud. Repubs helped Dems kill his efforts (think Uniparty / RINOs who themselves 'win' rigged elections):
