@raphjd $972,000 for bail? How did they come to this figure? I mean, don't get me wrong... I'm not saying it's unreasonable to set the bail so high under the circumstances... I'm just saying that this is a rather oddly specific number, which raises the question how did they get to this number...

I don't know if its the case in Florida, but some states have a specific bail amount per offending item and/or charge. You add it all up and you get the final bail amount.
