Repeated (daily!) re-upload requests

One user sends daily reseed requests for a dead torrent that I once downloaded. I'm happy to help out w/ reseeds when I can, but all the downloaders of this torrent don't need new requests every day, resulting in dozens of identical messages after we haven't logged in for a while.
Is this a violation of rules and, if so, what can be done?

Requesting re-seed should be @ least once per/day ...
- There is no rule on these ...
However if being abused you can report the [notification system message] button reply to the staff ...
