Having auto-approve for everyone does explain why some torrents show up described only as "Hot Sex" with no pictures. In the past, those might not have received moderator approval. I'm sure those were tough calls--after all, we want people to share their material, and disapproving a torrent probably needed to convey "it's not that we want to disapprove--we want you to improve."

@eobox91103 Yes... Uploading a lot of garbage torrents can get your upload ability revoked, at the very least temporarily. We encourage you to report such torrents for being garbage torrents that in no way follow the intended rules and requirements.

@MrMazda ironically, the GOOD videos get nuked the instant they are discovered by the hidden censor, whereas the GARBAGE is allowed to remain on the site! I used to get over 95% of my porn here. Now that is down to about 10%.
About 20 minutes ago, a good video appeared in the BROWSE section. About 5 minutes later, I tried to download it, but it had already been removed! Nobody reported nor reviewed that. It was spontaneously nuked. -

@lololulu19 The quality of torrents and having torrents taken down are not the fault of the website.
Websites operating in the US are required to abide by DMCA Notifications, otherwise the site loses its safe harbor and can be open to liability. Operators of websites are required to take down infringing content in a timely manner.

@rnd256 There are four sites operating the way this one is. This is the only one taking down videos. That is not even the point. The point is that someone is taking down videos on this site without any DMCA request being made, and without anything being reviewed nor verified. One of the moderators uploaded a video of HIMSELF that got taken down as a DMCA report, when obviously there was no DMCA report. I suggest that if you are so concerned about this.. leave the site. I have repeatedly said that troll users who are not here to upload (nor download) anything should be removed from the site. In fact, I would require new users to upload something before they get access to the site. When I first joined this site, I had to show that I was a member of other sites, and list what I had uploaded to those other sites. Somehow, the standards have changed, and anybody can get access to this site without contributing anything at all, and not using this site for anything more than spying on it and making fake DMCA claims.

@rnd256 By the way, there is zero protection given to gay porn because it is considered to be obscene. There has never been a successful copyright claim made on a gay porn video. Many decades ago, there was a successful claim made on a COLT gay video, but that was because the video contained MUSIC that had a legitimate copyright on it. That is why you don't hear commercial music in porn movies, nor in live webcam shows.

This thread began with a very simple question about gaytorrent user title colors. Midway, it was hijacked by a rambling and inaccurate diatribe about takedowns.
I thought this was a topic that is highly discouraged for discussion. Which begs the question, why is this person allowed to continue posting in this manner?
And, as a "bump" of sorts, it was suggested several posts back that the thread had run its course. Does someone have the key for this lock?
