"Trick" to downloading torrents that are stalled

In Utorrent, and other torrent clients, there is a column that you can turn on to show you the TRACKER assigned to a given torrrent.
If for some reason that entry goes blank, the torrent will stop because it doesn't have a link to it.
To fix that, remove the TORRENT (but NOT the data) for that torrent, and add it again. That will result in Utorrent checking the data already downloaded and adding the TRACKER back, and it should continue to download. -
@lololulu19 Oh! I will try that. I am frequently confused as to why torrents showing as recently seen complete will not finish downloading.

@lololulu19 Wow! That really works! That has revived my hope of downloading some other rare files where it has previously got stuck and I have aborted the effort.

Is the column "tracker" or "tracker status" in Utorrent? Turning on "tracker" column does not create a new column. Not sure why.

Wouldn't manually forcing a recheck do the same thing? Not a problem I've encountered in BiglyBT though.
