Creating siterips?

I see videos posted from sites that don't allow downloads unless they're purchased individually. How are people creating siterips? I can't imagine that many titles being purchased.

I don't know the ones you are talking about, but a lot of the siterips are from scene groups that buy a membership to site (insert name here) that allows you to download everything they have and upload that.

I sometimes see staff from sites that allow streaming but not downloads.

Streaming has a very different set of laws from torrents.

Actually, some sites that don't allow subscription members to download their videos are @lpham@l3, Tr3@sure !sland, etc., although you can individually purchase movies for digital download. I can't imagine uploaders are buying all those videos when they share here.
