I haven't seen crap like that on Epoch News, but go ahead and make up your idiotic claims.

I wonder how many people your side has killed based on the steaming hot bullshit your side spews. There have been many blacks killing whites because they drank the Kool-Aid of "white supremacy" is everywhere.

It's your "news" that are fact checkers for big tech, despite them being caught in countless lies.

        @bi4smooth

        For what?

It's the same DOJ that failed to act when Holder was found in Contempt of Congress, in a bi-partisan vote? Fast and Furious, any of that ring any bells?

Yes, the same DOJ that failed to act when former Trump advisor Mark Meadows was found in contempt of congress...

I know it's hard for you to fathom, what with your authoritarian-biased views, but the structure of the American Government is - at its foundation - a separation of powers. No one branch of the Government - not the Exec (Presidency), not the Legislative (Congress), and not the Judicial - can do anything that anther branch cannot undo! There is NO absolute power in our Government - every potential action of any one branch can be overturned... and sometimes requires the approval of... another branch.

In this case, finding someone in contempt of congress is major shit - so the Legislature has to approve of it AND the Justice Department (part of the Executive branch)... and it's not at all uncommon for Congress (a purely political entity) to make a referral and for Justice (a legal, non-partisan entity... well, until Trump got ahold of it) to nix it...

YOU say that the Dept of Justice is politically motivated in failing to bring charges in certain cases... but they are cases against both conservative & liberal sides... I say the referrals themselves are politically motivated, and the Justice Dept is quashing their unsupported (legally) charges. Again, against both sides...

It's the same DOJ that called angry parents "terrorists".

Angry parents who made threats against local authorities? Threats backed up with guns?

Yes!! And it was the right call!

The DOJ was political under Obama, unless you forgot.

Clearly, your liberal "news" over exaggerated the "threats" from parents.

Maybe you should watch the actual hearings. Of course, you won' because you don't want the facts.

No, the DOJ was NOT politicized under Obama - you just thought they were because they didn't do your partisan bidding, and his term in office was the nascent beginnings of the "make up your own facts" era of politics (an era we're firmly entrenched in today!)

I like Mitch McConnell - I think he's been an exceptionally successful leader of the Senate.... but I cringed when he said, at Obama's inauguration in 2009, that his sole political agenda was to prevent Obama from gaining a 2nd term.

            1. that's not why he was elected to office (to gain more power)
            2. he failed - miserably - and Obama won his 2nd term - AND Dems gained seats in both the House AND Senate!
            3. unwillingness to compromise is a weakness, not a strength... compromise is the whole BASIS of our form of government! Refusing to do so is un-American... even if he IS a great Senate leader...
            4. putting party politics ABOVE the good of the country is just bad - I'm afraid he's going to be remembered poorly by history in the future.

I should be careful here too, though... Trump tried to politicize the DOJ. He succeeded in some small ways, but the 2020 election shows just how LITTLE success he had in that effort.

He made inroads (damaging the credibility of the DOJ in the process), but he was NOT fully successful in re-making the DOJ as his own political hit-squad as he had hoped...

So, you are trying to tell me that Holder was arrested for Contempt of Congress (bi-partisan vote), like the guy last week was.

Sounds like more DNC/CCP disinformation coming from you.

No, you jackass - I'm saying that Congress refers SOME people to the DOJ for contempt of congress and the DOJ files charges, and that Congress refers SOME people to the DOJ for contempt of congress and the DOJ declines to file charges

If you took your head out of your ass, you'd have understood that from the original posting....

Ah, what you are saying is, that the DOJ is extremely political.

That's even before Trump, so you shit about Trump making political was a total leftist lie, as always.

Thank you for some honesty, finally.

                      QUESTIONABLE SOURCE
A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency, and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for profit or influence (Learn More). Sources listed in the Questionable Category may be very untrustworthy and should be fact-checked on a per-article basis. Please note sources on this list are not considered fake news unless specifically written in the reasoning section for that source. See all Questionable sources.

Overall, we rate The Epoch Times Right Biased and Questionable based on the publication of pseudoscience and the promotion of propaganda and conspiracy theories, as well as numerous failed fact checks.

                      History
The Epoch Times is an international, multi-language news media company in print and online. The Epoch Times was first published in New York in April 2000 (in Chinese only) and the online edition in August 2000. In 2003, The Epoch Times launched an online edition in English, printing as a newspaper in New York in 2004. The Epoch Times was founded by John Tang and a group of Chinese-American Falun Gong practitioners. The Epoch Times publishes in 21 languages in 35 countries across five continents. Their focus topics include sections for world and national news, op-eds, sports, entertainment, business, arts and culture, travel, and health.

On December 20, 2019, Facebook took down more than 600 accounts connected to The Epoch Times. According to an NBC News report, “The network was called ‘The BL’ and was run by Vietnamese users posing as Americans, using fake photos generated by algorithms to simulate real identities. The Epoch Media group, which pushes a variety of pro-Trump conspiracy theories, spent $9.5 million on ads to spread content through the now-suspended pages and groups.”

                      Funded by / Ownership
The Epoch Times is owned by the Epoch Media Group, which also owns NTD. The Epoch Times receives funding through a subscription, advertising, and donation model. According to their about page, they are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

                      Analysis / Bias
In review, The Epoch Times covers straight news reporting through journalists and low-biased syndication through the Associated Press and Reuters. However, when reporting on China, they do reflect a strong anti-communism bias. The Epoch Times also uses loaded language that favors the right, such as Why Media Organizations Can’t Let Go of the Fake Russia-Collusion Narrative.

Editorially, there is an extreme Pro-Trump bias. Almost all articles praise Trump or denigrate the left, such as these Democratic Party: A Broken Kaleidoscope? and Five Reasons Trump’s Celebration of America Was Epic Display of Patriotism. According to an NBC News report, the “outlet has spent more than $1.5 million on about 11,000 pro-Trump advertisements in the last six months (2020), according to data from Facebook’s advertising archive — more than any organization outside of the Trump campaign itself, and more than most Democratic presidential candidates have spent on their campaigns.”

In general, straight news reporting is sourced and mostly low-biased; however, op-eds 100% favor the right with some promoting conspiracy theories. During the Coronavirus outbreak and the 2020 Presidential election, they have promoted misinformation. See failed fact checks below.

                      Failed Fact Checks
Jack Andraka, 15, came up with a “100 percent accurate” cancer-detection method: “168 times faster, 26,000 times less expensive, and 400 times more sensitive” than current methods. – False
Dubious Posts Tie Political Families to Ukraine Work – False
No, Yellowstone volcano’s eruption threat level did not increase in 2018 – False (Corrected)
Concerned artificial intelligence researchers hurriedly abandoned an experimental chatbot program after realizing that the bots were inventing their own language. – False
Did China’s Communist government create the novel coronavirus in a laboratory and release it into the world as a deadly bioweapon? – False
President Donald Trump has 232 electoral votes; Joe Biden has 212, 226, or 227. – False
COVID-19 vaccine mRNA is converted to DNA and enters the cell’s nucleus, so the vaccines can potentially change our DNA – Inaccurate
“COVID Deaths Have Been Vastly Overcounted” – Inaccurate
“Pfizer Knew About Immunosuppression”; “Fully Vaxxed Are More Likely to Die From COVID” – Inaccurate
Further, the Epoch Times frequently publishes pseudoscience news, such as Supernormal Abilities Developed Through Meditation: Dr. Dean Radin Discusses. They also publish false claims from Pseudoscience and anti-vaccination activist Joeseph Mercola who has a long track record of publishing misinformation. Finally, the above referenced NBC News report states, “In addition to claims that alien abductions are real and the “deep state engineered the drug epidemic,” the channel pushes the QAnon conspiracy theory, which falsely posits that the same “Spygate” cabal is a front for a global pedophile ring being taken down by Trump.”

Overall, we rate The Epoch Times Right Biased and Questionable based on the publication of pseudoscience and the promotion of propaganda and conspiracy theories, as well as numerous failed fact checks. (M. Huitsing 8/21/2017) (Updated 05/22/2022)

You have no intention of debating the actual topic, so you are just trolling.

Also, failing fact checks means nothing when the fact checkers are dishonest POS.

How many fake news articles did USA Today have to get rid of, just from 1 reporter recently? USA Today is a fact checker for big tech and they were posting lies.

All the fact checkers for big tech have been busted for lying about shit.

The BBC is a prime example of an outlet that writes lies, then stealth edits the article several weeks later so their narrative gets out there.

You are also forgetting that much of the "pseudoscience" has since been proven true about covid.

It was liberal outlets that knowingly falsely claimed that Invermectin was a horse dewormer and not a human medicine, despite it being listed on the CDC website as a valid human medicine. Even CNN's medical analyst admitted that on the Joe Rogan podcast.

So who is the actual fake news here.

I used your link to do a bit of checking on how they rate liberal news sources.

They claim that Epoch Times has an "extreme pro-Trump bias" but they don't claim that CNN, MSNBC and the rest have an "extreme anti-Trump bias", despite it being extremely blatant that they do.

Like other similar sites, they claim that leftist news outlets lean less to the far-left while claiming that right-wing new sources lean to the far-right.

I also didn't see any mention of the Hunter Biden's laptop lie the left-wing media perpetrated on the world. It was an outright lie to help Biden get elected.

Since your link talked about Epoch Times' coverage of China, I noticed it made absolutely ZERO mention of how leftist news sources covered China. I guess covering a Biden paymaster, who commits crimes against humanity doesn't look good for your side, so you refuse to cover it. Murder, orgsan harvesting members of a religious group, slavery, human rights abuses en masse and countless other things.
