Weird Ratio numbers

My tracker for my utorrent downloader is behaving oddly. I have a file that is 17.4 gigs in size but it says that i have downloaded 195 gigs of information. I have a few others that are similar. I downloaded a file from a completely different site and the download size was added to this one. lastly I generally as a rule seed for a minimum of 1 month and yet I get no traffic when seeding most of my torrents. Even for popular files. I have even re-seeded dead torrents but get no hits. My VPN has caused a few hiccups before. What can i do to help seed the files i have?

you should always rely and check your status here @ least once in awhile,
sometimes other torrent that are unrelated ... [not from this site] are those the one screwing or messes up your seeding/torrenting activities esp.
when there are other peers connected ...

Nothing ...
If there are no leechers it's useless ...
However you can get points [SBP] ...
You receive for every hour the system is registering you as a seeder 0.5 points.
Seed only torrents that has an active amount of leechers and peers connected ...
[One good example is Freeleech]
Stop or remove other inactive torrent [seed only if someone requested] ... [this will help and prevent conflict] ...
