How to reseed a torrent?

For some reason my torrents disappeared from the program so I uploaded them again but it only accepted some of them and the others it says they need to be downloaded again. The problem is that it affects my ratio so I would like if someone can tell me What can I do in this case? I shared at least 28 torrents and now the program only accepted me 6

I already resolved it. I had to download my torrents back and find the folders where the original files were on my own. Excuse the paranoia.
