OK, super-awful-man, let's sit down and write a manual on how to count all these bodies, and tell which ones died from what.
Let's start with:
- "They had COVID-19" - check! Count +1
- Unless they had a gunshot wound - uncheck! Count -1
- Unless that was self-inflicted - a suicide by gunshot vs suffocating to death hasn't been all that uncommon - check! Count +1
- Unless they had a history of suicidal thoughts - uncheck! Count -1
- Unless that history was years old and they were being successfully treated for mental illness prior to getting COVID-19 - check! Count +1
Just how deep do you want to go, Sherlock? Remember, you have about 30 seconds to decide, because the bodies are stacked up and this is - by far - not the biggest piece of paperwork (much less handling the dead bodies work) on your plate today!
I really wish everything in life was as easy as you make it out to be! Shit! It's so easy for you:
- there would be no world hunger! Just grow food, sell it, and eat it!
- there would be no war, just ask Donald and whatever he says, goes... losers just have to suck it up! Be adult about it!

Just count absolutely everything as due to covid, then use those figures to justify more lockdowns and other shit. Oh wait, we already did that and somewhat still do that.
You may remember that the UK's version of Fauci (2 doctors, actually) was forced to admit that they lied about the stats to get their way.

You know, this is the same argument we have about the "massive vote fraud" in the 2020 election results:
- I apply high-school-level math and statistics to say "these numbers aren't perfect, but they're close enough to be useful"

I must say though - I like your idea about counting COVID-19 cases the same way we get race data in the census:
Just ask!
If people who die of COVID-19 just self-identify themselves, the count will be FAR more accurate!
