Just joined and need to up my ratio

I tried picking a new torrent with the intent of seeding it, but then it dried up and I barely got to upload anything. Can anyone recommend tips on getting my ratio better? I hate being a leech.

Look for newly minted freeleech torrents - they generate a LOT of traffic! If you "get in early" you can seed the masses who come after. (Not much value - for ratio - in downloading and seeding older freeleech torrents, as there are so many seeders, you won't get much action...)
Just my opinion... hope you get your money's worth!

@bi4smooth Does freeleech mean that it doesn't get tallied in your "downloaded" count?

@chubbytossbm Also - don't forget to vote on categories for your downloaded torrents. You get points that can be turned in to increase your ratio

LOTS of things you do can earn you Seed Bonus Points (SBP) -- like just SEEDING torrents!.... Plus, don't forget about the First Time Uploader's bonus - 600 SBP can be turned in for 10GB upload credit!
