          Glad to see someone else fondly remembering & honoring this great actor.

          "Lou Grant" (US TV show in the late 1970's and early 1980's) was one of my first "favorite dramas" (as a young adult)... and Ed Asner is the ONLY actor (to date) to earn an Emmy (US TV award) for playing the same character in both a Drama ("Lou Grant") and a Comedy ("The Mary Tyler Moore Show")

          That said, he was a perfect example of a GREAT actor, with lousy politics! (He was an unabashed socialist)

          Regardless of his politics, I loved his acting work - most recently for me in The Good Fight on CBS.

          RIP Mr Asner.

            @kalayaan people think Keith Richards died decades ago, and they were right. However, all those drugs preserved him and he still performs.
