Can you somehow hide older torrents that have the recycle icon next to them from search result?

As far as I am aware, there is no way in which to do this.

Yes. Under "Where to Search", check the box for "Torrent Description" and use -"original upload" as a search term to exclude them. (Use both the minus sign and the quotation marks.)
If you wanted to search for recycled torrents only, you could use +"original upload" as a search term.
