Hi, I noticed it is backup today. It is on the sign-in page, but it is not taking my old
sign-in credentials.So maybe they are on the way back up, but not there fully. . .

I did the same. The site is up but it doesn't allow you to sign on or request a new password.
I think they need a bit more time -

Hey guys, we just got back up and running yesterday and madly working to get functionality back up - including an invitation module and a torrent tracker.
Unfortunately we did lose all our data so you won't just be able to log in as usual.
In the meantime, we'll be manually adding old members back in and any new members from posts here and in the ourgtn invite forum.
If you are a veteran member from before the big crash of 2007, we may still have your details, so PM me with those so I can quickly check. If you joined after 2007 or have not been a member before, PM me with your request including preferred nickname, sign up password (which you should change as soon as you log in) and email address to use for confirmation.
Preference will be given to those who show activity here and on the other forums. As usual, not too worried about ratio but we do want to see that you've been downloading some things, participating in forums, etc. Newbies and lurkers will come last on the list so we can priorities getting our old buddies back
Doing it manually is slow but we'll keep working at it until the invitation module is ready - hopefully very soon!

oh dear, this sounds horrible….How is it possible that you only have an old backup from 2007? Was it a hardware failure ?

@rick71142 I thought that site was the creation of Cannon. I was not aware of the others.
I was a member of it until a couple of years ago my account vanished for no reason. I used to chat with Cannon a lot - mainly about specific gay porn stars of the 80's and 90's. -
