so my pc is getting old and unstable ( apparently i havent purchased a new one during the virus pandemic )….......it had a couple of sudden shutdowns (automatically)during utorrent was still running (downloading / seeding).........within last days

and my corncerns goes to................after i reboot the pc

1, should i ditch the unfinished files and restart it all over again? it would be ok if it s a small sized file that i m downloading, but it s going to get  awkward when it comes to a 10 gb file that i have finished 80 percent

2, usually when i open utorrent again, the unfinished torrents would go self-check automatically, if that procedure completes then back to redownloading mode, does that mean the file that i m downloading is not get damaged and good to keep on downloading? i mean sometimes it says failed to checking, i guess in that case it means the files have been damaged?

3, if the file eventually is finished downloading and the torrent then starts to seed........does that mean the file that i have finished downloading is perfectly fine without any damage? is there any possibilities that even the torrent gets finished and starts to seed, but the files could still be damaged?

so my question is how to make sure the files that u download(with utorrent)r fine after a sudden pc shutdown? plz help here.....thx in advance

        1. No… You should resume the download or seeding from where you left off. This will prevent you from getting charged double the download.

        2. Yes... This is usually a sign that the file has been damaged.

        3. Once the file goes to "Seeding", it is 100% complete, without flaw.
