What's going on with the site?

It is extremely slow (and sometimes you can't even log in) since last weekend… is it only me or is it happening to other people? What is the problem with the site?

I have noticed that I can no longer access Gaytorrent.ru UNLESS I use a VPN proxy to get a "fake" ip address.

Is there an alternative URL to gaytorrent.exe for instance.. another torrent site goes by both ***-torrents.org and ***-area.org

This is probably because the DNS servers you are using have not cleared their DNS cache and are still resolving the old IP address for the site. We recently switched vendors for the server, which may be the cause of your issue.

thanks for that explanation! I don't understand all this DNS cache stuff though.

I can access this site fine.. with the VPN servers. I think I will try changing my DNS servers in the networking adapters…

Apparently, there were further complications than expected with some changes that we have recently brought forward. The result is that the tracker is currently not behaving properly for most users most of the time. We are looking into the cause and are in the process of trying to fix the issue.
