To get seed bonus points, you have to have at least 1 torrent seeding, even if no one is downloading from you.
You only get SBP for 1 torrent. It takes a bit of time (30 minutes, I think) to catch up.

The SBP will accumulate at 0.5 SBP per hour that you are seeding. Your torrent client only updates with the tracker every 30 minutes, so there is a bit of a delay in the stats updating.
