I clean out for far more than if I was just getting fucked, I regularly get fisted, so I need to have a good deep clean
About 6 hours before play I take a couple of loperimide capsules to slow movement down
2 hours before play I douche well using a nozzle attached to my shower (until I run clear)
1 hour before play I have another loperimide
30 mins before play I douche well again (running clear again)
I can then play for hours without any issuesCertain foodstuffs should be avoided, especially peanuts! Quite a few guys I know have issues if they had cooked onions the day before too

If you're a true virgin, you may bleed so you want to practice with small to large sizes.
I've bottomed before and it's a literal pain in the ass. I personally need to start preparing 2 hours before sex and that includes using a shower sprayer with a special nozzle to clean out my intimate parts.

I am a bottom. If it's just fucking, I don't usually need to do any preparation. When I go to the washroom, I do spend probably as much time wiping as I do sitting on the toilet though. If the sex is planned then I will shower and wash the area well first.
If rimming is involved, then shower ahead of time is a must for me.
