Browse a users torrents?

Just wondered if it is possible to view a users uploaded torrents? If someone is uploading good quality torrents is it possible to see which other torrents someone has uploaded?

I cant see it anywhere, was just wondering

Sadly, it's not. All torrents are now posted as 'anonymous' these days and the uploaders are known only to the staff.

The only time you will know an uploader is if he announces it in the forum, sends you a PM or replies to a comment you made on one of his torrents.

It is frustrating but that's the policy

I suppose it might be to try protect users, So studios etc cant see who is uploading their stuff.

That certainly seemed to be the reasoning initially, especially when the site was a lot more public. I am not sure it was a good idea.

I would certainly like to know who is the uploader but this site is very secretive. We can't even search for members anymore, which is sad. Nor can we check anyone's posts on the forum.

So many members hide their settings it is an effort to PM them. I have found a way of sending PMs to them but it is a rigmarole.

But as I'm not paying I can't really complain.

You are correct… This feature has been disabled for all users except for some staff in order to protect the security and privacy of our users. If you wish, you can contact the uploader of the torrent and request a list from them. This can sometimes be arranged by contacting one of the staff.
