For preference I use an electric shaver as I have a scar on the chin which always ends up bleeding.

Wet.  Those electric models would like us to believe that all the clipped hairs are drawn magically into the collection piece.

              They are not.

Electric for sure but depends on your preference and skin type. I have sensitive skin and shaving can cause serious irritation so as soon as I went to electric it was wayyy better and no cuts  😛

I switched to electric and I'm very happy, it's much cleaner and faster.

                    Electric I'd say…. It's so much easier.

I wet shave in the shower. Electric doesn't quite get close enough to the face.

Both. Because they are used in different cases. If the hair is short - wet, if long - electric.

                            Wet.

An electric shaver can be a cesspool of bacteria, dead skin cells and dried blood if not kept scrupulously clean. Ewwww.

I like the ritual of a wet shave. I have three razors, two three-piece razors where the head disassembles, and a 'butterfly' razor where twisting the handle opens up the head for blades to be replaced. They give different shaves. In the butterfly, more of the blade is exposed. Gives a lovely close shave, but it's much more likely to cut.

Huge variety of choices - from razors to blades and brushes to soaps. Huge variety of prices too. I have a £35 German three-piece and a £7.99 ebay (Chinese-made) generic three-piece razor. The generic one gives me a better shave!
