Y Tu Mama TambienAll of Michael Haneke's films (Sometimes a bit grim but always brilliant. Skip the US remake of Funny Games for the original. Even though it's a shot for shot remake by the same director I think knowing who the actors are in the remake takes you out of the experience.)
There a bit of everything here (drama, thriller, horror, comedy, surrealism) from several different countries. There's probably loads more I've forgotten but you should have enough to keep you going.

Winner in the “Best Foreign Language Film” category at the 81st Academy Awards in 2009 (and I’ve laughed and cried every time watching it…at least 3 times so far).

My all-time fave is PROFONDO ROSSO. EARLY Dario Argento was GREAT - and it was a shame when he went all "tits-n-ass".
