If I know people have a drastically different political viewpoint than I do, I assess the situation. Are these people with whom I can have a respectful discussion about subject X with, or will subject X eventually end up a shouting match? Depending on the answer I simply avoid talking about a subject with people who I know I'm going to have a shouting match with.

Family is family . If they don't tell me I will burn in hell for sucking cock. I don't tell them they will burn in an imanigary lake of fire for having tramp stamp's and eating shrimp. and a whole bunch of other worm's I will and have pulled out of the can on ther ass. You don't need to "deal" with them in any way for having different opinions than you.  How about acting like an adult and realize that not everyone needs to have the same beliefs as you?  Wow, what a concept huh?
