How do you deal with family members that are right winged/Fox News/ Trump Supporters? I find it interesting how people can be from the same family and have such opposing views.

If I know people have a drastically different political viewpoint than I do, I assess the situation. Are these people with whom I can have a respectful discussion about subject X with, or will subject X eventually end up a shouting match? Depending on the answer I simply avoid talking about a subject with people who I know I'm going to have a shouting match with.
