Older/Younger relationships, do they survive?
-
I've been with my partner for 8 years. We are 30 years apart, I was 18 and he was 48. It works,But a lot of work is always going to be needed for a happy and healthy relationship
Exactly right, every relationship needs a lot of work to be happy and healthy relationship. Me and my partner is 25 years apart and we are celebrating our 17th anniversary

-
I prefere same age
-
My relationship lasted for 11 years, we were 23 years apart. We broke up for reasons not related to the age gap
-
I never had the opportunity to date someone who was much older than me, but honesty and a good communication should be even more valued in a relationship like this.
-
Yes. My wonderful partner and I have 25 years between us and we have been together for 17 years.

âŚmost of the guys seem to be sexually attracted to daddies with hopes they've got that $omething $pecial and don't quite view their romantic-emotional side...
The "Sugar Daddy"/"Sugar Mama" speculation is common in perceptions of younger/older relationshipsâstraight and gay. As I see it, that number is attributed more to the difference in assets over ageâyield vs. years.
That âtrue loveââequal in age or older--can be a âgold-diggerâ just as much as that young hottie.
As it happens to be in our relationship, there is the age difference, and no doubt a big gap in our ânet worthâ as wellâmy âmarrying wellâ--I guess you could say. Thatâs just how it is.
Believe me, there surely was no inkling that that ânoonerâ 35 years ago was anything but. (âHow long have you and your partner been together?â - https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=49673.msg269126#msg269126)
Both hot and hornyâage and income--definitely not on our minds! Â >:D

I personally dont like people older or younger than me, but there are many people who likes older or younger. So they can survive but in a long term relationship, if there is a huge age difference, there may be problems.

There may be problems in any relationshipâ"long term" or otherwise--regardless of the age difference between the individuals.

It's an individual case. So I think topics like that shouldn't exist. Any couple is different from one another. I, for example feel much better with older guys. Not old, just older. They're like pals to me but I can still feel a little authority towards them despite we're intelectually on the same level. I don't get along with younger. They're just too childish for me.

i can accept a man that 20 years older then me

I think that Love knows nothing of looks or age⌠both change with time as does the heart.

i think it's more about the dependent, co-dependent, dominant, relationship. maintaining the sense of the roles between the two of you. i feel that's where daddy attraction is? :police:

Really? Definitely not for me. It's just easier for me to talk to and get along with an older guy. And usually I find older guys more joyful and happy and less cynic and destroyed by life than I am. Their kind of fresh compared to boring peers who have higher self esteem than a fucking Eiffel Tower. The second thing, I don't know why I'm like this but I feel very old and really seek a serious relationship. Most of the guys around my age don't. I'm not looking for a DADDY. I don't chase after 50 y.o. because that's (in my opinion, according to my taste) disgusting. I like just mature guys, because I like mature, masculine, muscular bodies, that's it. And I don't talk with an older guy like with a parent but as we're equal. My bf was 36 so it was 13 years difference and he accused me of being too serious and left but we acted like peers. The guy I was dating who was 38 actually started calling me like you know "son" and things like that and it kind of I don't know how to describe it. IT WAS SO FUCKING CRINGEY and awkward. I just qui. Then now I met a guy and we're such great friends and lovers and we always have a topic to talk about and we're not lecturing each other, I thought he's like 37 or smth but it turned out he's 44 so 20 years older than me. And you know what? he's awesome.

Been with my husband 9 years & there is 19 years between us. I'm sure, however, that some twink-queen that has never been "in a relationship" more than 6 hours (and with lots of Ecstasy) will try to tell me that there is no way on Earth that is possible without one of us being a "gold-digger"Â - which is impossible considering both of us are poor.
-
i think its because older men are good in handling relationship than younger men
-
if the conditions are right yes they can, im in a relationship im in my mid-20s and him in 60s the only age issue we have is the sex, mainly cus he has a low sex drive and i have hight one and i tryed to cheat cus of the lack of sex
