Gee, I had no idea Donald Trump was a liberal, since nobody lies as much as he does.
This is blatant whataboutism and didn't even address his post.
Why are conservatives filled with such extreme blind hatred? Every post from conservatives is one big temper tantrum, filled with pure unrelenting anger.
Blatant tone policing. Rather than address the contents of his actual post, you complain about the tone, he's "angry" he's "throwing a tantrum".
You better count yourself lucky that the only thing conservatives do when they "throw a tantrum" is speak angrily. What do liberals do when they throw a tantrum?

If you're sincere about arriving at an answer to your question raphjd, I respectfully advise you to look at the flip side of the coin and ask the same question of conservatives.
Because the fact is for every CNN, there is a Fox News. Both sides are guilty of biases and of spinning things to benefit their side. But the responsibility is ultimately on YOU- the one reading the news- to actively seek out both sides to any big story and come to a conclusion based on that.So- to modify your question: Why do liberals AND conservatives find it hard to tell the truth? Because it's so easy to think that our side is completely right. It's so easy to demonize our opponents as being liars. Because it's human nature to fall prey to our biases and this in turn leads us to think that anything that disagrees with our world view is a lie.
We can all fall prey to confirmation bias- to just read all the news and articles which supports our way of thinking. That's a sure way to be blind to the other side, the other half of the story and the main person to be hurt by that blindness would be ourselves.

Your big "fact" for the day is that for every CNN, there is a Fox News. Uh.. no… virtually all the media and all the moronic late night clown shows are extremely biased against Trump. Fox is pretty much the only one that is not.
In the old days.. credible journalists such as John Chancellor, David Brinkley, Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings, etc. stuck to REPORTING the news.. instead of constantly spinning the news with their biased political views. Trump is definitely a liar, but so was Hillary. If you can admit that, I'd say that's a sign that you are looking for some sort of objective truth. You have to be willing to call your own side out.

Thanks to Trump supporters, all we have is our taxpayer money being wasted on Trump vacations, no major progress done in the first 100 days, a whole bunch of political tension among Americans, a shitload of scandal, and Republicans revealing their hypocrisy and incompetence because they couldn't reform healthcare despite controlling all 3 branches of government and basically admitted Obamacare was the best solution to healthcare despite bitching endlessly about it and sabotaging it back when they were out of power pretending they had a better healthcare solution when in reality they were just solution-less obstructing complainers providing absolutely no value to Americans while getting paid to do nothing.
Oh yeah, and the Republicans used the nuclear option to force an anti-gay judge on the Supreme Court who follows in the tradition of that homophobic bigot Scalia. ::)

One example of a conservative asshole is that new Justice Gorsuch. The caveat there is.. pretty much all judges and lawyers are assholes. -

Trump hasn't taken any vacation yet. Few people know this… but Washington D.C. is a very nasty city... with an extremely high crime rate, and happens to be built upon old swampland. Mar A Lago is considered the "Second White House". They are about to deal with healthcare - you must not have been reading the news.
While I agree that Gorsuch is awful.. what judge isn't awful? Certainly that Ginsburg is a monster. -
