Sex is an act of incredibly intimate communication. I like to talk, moan, grunt, and even laugh. If you can't laugh while you're having sex, you're putting too much psychological pressure on the act. So I like vocal sex, but not in the sense of grunting and screaming, as much as communicating with my partner. I enjoy mild dirty talk (I don't go in for slave/master conversation), and I've found that a noisy orgasm is usually more pleasurable, just knowing that you're free to make noise. But I also don't believe that shaking the walls is a good idea. Same as above, I don't want to be a jerk to my neighbors. Or my unscrupulous roommate who loves to have super noisy sex with his girlfriend. All. The. Damn. Time!
But if no one is around to hear it, yes, I do like sex when it makes noise. -

As for guys, I don’t really recall any being loud, aside from some phone sex partners. Although some were verbal, I didn’t get that same boost that I got from the females. I’m thinking it had a lot to do with the particular situations. Also many years ago, barely “out”–I was inexperienced and a lot younger than those few verbal guys, and the compliments were nice, but I guess I just couldn’t help but get a little embarrassed being the focus of that much attention.

I honestly don't care if its loud or silent as long as the reactions are genuine. fake moaning or forced dirty talk is just strange and a turn off too me, and someone u can tell is trying to be silent is creepy so i just say go with what is real and genuine and just cause its loud and noise one time with someone doesnt mean the next time with the same person will be too. moods change and setting and everything.

I think it depends on the mood and the moment and the environment. Loud sex when others are around who could hear it? Awkward. Loud sex when you're, say, in a secluded cabin in the woods? Awesome.
I have to say I hate most of the loud sex in porn. 99% of the time it sounds fake and unrealistic.
