      @raphjd:

      Ok, so we have 1 fake crime assumed to be by right wingers vs about a dozen from the left.

      DO NOT assume that hunters are right wingers.  My stepdad hunts and is a lifelong Democrat.

      In the UK at least, the data says otherwise!

      https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/hate-crime-england-and-wales-2015-to-2016

      Overall, 2.8 per cent of hate crimes originally recorded in 2015/16 were subsequently transferred or cancelled. Most of these (2.2%) were cancelled and 0.7 per cent of crimes were transferred to another police force (compared with 3.0% and 0.5% for non-hate crime offences respectively; Appendix table 2.06).

      Only 2.2% of hate crimes are deemed to be false reports, compared to 3.0% for similar crime.

          @rawr:

          Almost any career US politician is better than the dumpster fire of the Donald Trump presidency. If George W. Bush was a full blown alcoholic, he would still do a better job.

          Donald still has a lot of support because people like the things he says, the problem is, those aren't the things he does. Sooner or later, people will figure that out. If you think Donald hasn't doomed himself to being remembered as a laughing stock, you're wrong. I'm sure the majority of Americans in 10 years will think "Remember that one time we had that complete jack off, Donald Trump as a president? Man what the hell were we thinking?" While a handful of massively butt-hurt supporters cower in bed from Trump induced fever dreams.

          Thankfully, I think he's pretty much reached the limit of what he can do with an executive order (other than flounder around with new illegal orders), which means all he has left to do, is look like an idiot. Which is all he is capable of, as he is completely incompetent. As time goes on, people will get the message that he's nothing but a massive bullshit volcano that is continuously regurgitating unintelligible word salad.

          Trump is doing exactly the things he said he would do. Some of his actions might not fit your moral standards but that's what he campaigned for.

              Some of you need to be honest, it doesn't matter how much evidence of how true a situation is, you'd still doubt it. It's really sad how far we have fallen. You didn't doubt the circumstances around the Matthew Shepard case when it happened, did you? He really was the innocent victim of a hate crime in this country. Millions of people here dismissed what happened to him or didn't see the inhumanity of it, and then-President George W. Bush wouldn't even sign legislation to strengthen the hate crime laws here after it happened. We cannot start falling backwards as the result of #45 and his disgusting behavior. We have to move forward as a people or #45 will destroy what humanity we have left. It's highly disturbing to me that the first reaction to a possible hate crime is, "Liberals always make up stuff," instead of, "we need to try working together to make sure REAL incidents like this do not happen." I really hope nothing serious like what happened to Matthew Shepard happens again because with Jeff Sessions as AG, I don't even want to think of how damaging he'd be.

                Not at all.  I was pointing out the ratio between political sides.

                And YES, there are proven fake hate crimes.

                  There's plenty of evidence that people lie about things, for various reasons.

                  Women lie about being raped.

                  Women lie about domestic violence.

                  Women lie about their husbands abusing their kids, sexually or not.

                  The problem is, these liars hurt real victims.

                    That's a good point and I agree with you; however, it has little to do with the point of my post. I'm under the impression that it doesn't matter how truthful a claim is, it is dismissed by people like you without even doing at least basic research. If someone told me they'd been raped, I would try not to dismiss them as a liar without first learning some details; especially if I knew that person. I've learned never to do that again after a very serious situation. There was a girl at my high school that I was close friends with who told me along with a few other friends that one of my close male friends raped her one day after his football practice. She'd given him a ride home and told me and some other friends that he raped her, and I flat out did not believe her and told her that to her face. Our friendship ended over that situation. I knew this boy and had been to his house and he'd been to mine because he was one of the first people I told I was gay back then, and I thought he'd never do something like that since he'd been such a good friend to me when I needed one. I chose to believe him and a couple of years later in 2010 while I was away in college, I saw on Facebook that he'd been arrested for sexually assaulting an intoxicated woman at a club. I looked up the case on my hometown's news website and it was very clear that he really did commit sexual assault against the woman in a nightclub bathroom. That situation proved to me that sometimes it's very hard to know when someone is being honest. I'm still not 100% convinced that he raped my former female friend, but I do feel like crap for taking his word over hers so quickly.

                    Edit: Also, domestic violence is very, very serious in my state. We have one of the highest domestic violence rates here, usually between husband and wife. We actually had a recent incident involving a state legislator who had to resign after viciously beating his wife in front of his children, and he co-authored legislation related to domestic violence:

                      I personally know people that have had their lives destroyed by lies.

                      I almost had my life ruined by a crazy bitch who accused me of raping her.  She did it because she wanted my husband (civil partner at the time) and me to take her out clubbing on the other side of town and we only just met her that night.   Thankfully, the pub had pretty good CCTV, which cleared me.  However, I still had to spend 18 hours in jail before it was sorted.   No charges were brought against her, you know, because of gender equality and the patriarchy.

                      Look at the fake rape stories that have made international news over the last 30 years.  Nobody gives a fuck about the lives of the men that were ruined, they only care about protecting the lying bitches.

                      Sure, you tend to believe those close to you.  BUT, not everyone who's close to you is trustworthy.  I have an uncle that I wouldn't believe even if he said water is wet and I'd repeatedly check to see if i still had my wallet.

                      Rather than "JUST BELIEVE", we should wait for actual evidence.   Stop destroying the lives of men because some woman didn't want to pay her taxi fare or whatever.

                        Sady Doyle, a progressive writer for Elle says; "men accused of having abusive pasts deserve nothing but contempt".   No proof needed, just accused is enough to satisfy her lust to destroy men's lives.

                        The shit storm over something Casey Affleck supposedly did nearly 10 years ago is driving feminists batshit crazy wanting to destroy his career.   No proof needed.  The fact that he was accused is enough for the left to want to destroy him.

                        JUST BELIEVE, unless it's against a liberal.

                          Well, I am pretty sure that with Killary Klingon world would quickly develop into WWIII.

                              Don't blame Trump for this.  The left has been pulling this shit for 15 years now.  It's been going on for longer if you count the entire history of feminism.

                              The situation we are in is solely due to the left and their bullshit identity politics and Trump is blow back from that.

                              Twitter will ban for #KillAllBlacks  but they won't ban for #KillAllWhites and #KillAllMen.  @Jack is a cuck for anything extreme left.

                              SJWs of all ilk are massively abusing YouTube's DMCA system to kill the channels of people who disagree with them.

                              Facebook allows all manner of anti-white and anti-male hate, but don't you dare hate on anyone else because that's just wrong and will get you banned.  You can post ISIS videos of people getting their heads cut off, but don't complain about it or you're a racist.  Muslims throwing fags off of buildings is ok, being upset about it is evil.  Stoning women to death is great, just don't man-spread.

                              Doxxing is a favorite past time of SJWs of all ilk against their opponents, but whine like psychotic crack whores at even the hint that an anti-SJW joke about it.

                              BLM can use blatant lies to justify abusing a US Senator and chanting for killing cops.

                              Then President Obama can spew feminist lies, despite his own US Deprt of Labor stats proving him wrong.  You know, "feels, not reals".

                                We live in reality, not an alternative world. SHE DID NOT WIN. HE DID. He is the president which means he's going to be held accountable. Using the Hillary would be worse excuse is tired, lame and kills any argument on the spot. There is no Hillary anymore, she is a private citizen with absolutely no power; therefore, any reference to what "would have, could have," is alternative reality and weakens arguments when mentioned.
