I think there is an EP in Red Dwarf where all the characters are solid light projections so there's no STDs and everyone just kept having sex.

Same here. I don't see many people too concerned over STD's.

Maybe without STDs there wouldn't be such negativity associated with sluttiness

the main issue with STD's and STI's is that shameful associations are placed on them; a cold is viewed the same way, but with less stigma because it's more common. if they didn't exist, we might have a healthier mainstream attitudes towards sex
