I take lukewarm but I heard cold is better. But it's almost impossible taking a straight up cold shower lol

I've heard cold water is better for the skin etc (not to mention it saves on money), but I agree, it's way too difficult to just take a straight up ice cold shower. However, my trick is to start off just comfortably cold, then gradually, over the course of the shower, make it colder and colder. As your body adjusts to each new temperature, just raise it up (colder). After a couple minutes you won't even know that it's that cold.

Warm if the best for me, it helps me relax from the tension of the day…

Always at maximum hotness (thermostat says 38 degrees Celsius). I can't stand cold showers but I don't to waste the electricity used to heat my water so I never touch the cold water tap to cool my showers back down. I have no issues with hot water.

Generally speaking I take baths as hot as the Devil's ass himself but during said shower my heart beats like crazy and I get really dizzy from the heat  ;D , so I end up fluctuating it to avoid a heat stroke in the shower :). Both Have their benefits in reality, hot being very soothing and relaxing and cold being very invigorating.

I'd say "warm"… Not really hot or "lukewarm", but in between. I don't like very hot or cold showers. While cold showers make me feel as if something is compressing my lungs, overly hot showers seem to smother me with their humidity. Even apart from that, I find both terribly uncomfortable on my skin.

                                Lukewarm to hot.

I only do cold showers after being in the sauna way too much.

It depends on the season and the reason. Summer showers are more close to lukewarm (cold showers are not helping, they lower the temperature of your body and later, when exposed to hot summer weather you sweat a lot to counterbalance the temp difference – the hotter the shower the better to help with sweat). In winter I take hot showers most of the time.

When it comes to reason: if I take a shower to relax, it's gonna be hotter. Colder if I want to wake up or be stimulated. So it's usually hot in the evenings, colder in the mornings.

I love love love hot showers, its the best in winter but i take them in summer too. Since I shower before bed the only problem is allowing enough time to cool down enough to be able to sleep comfortably.

I always take hot showers but at the end I turn on the cold water because it closes your pores.
