Since I shower before bed the only problem is allowing enough time to cool down enough to be able to sleep comfortably.

Summer showers are more close to lukewarm (cold showers are not helping, they lower the temperature of your body and later, when exposed to hot summer weather you sweat a lot to counterbalance the temp difference – the hotter the shower the better to help with sweat). In winter I take hot showers most of the time.

When it comes to reason: if I take a shower to relax, it's gonna be hotter. Colder if I want to wake up or be stimulated. So it's usually hot in the evenings, colder in the mornings.

I don't like very hot or cold showers. While cold showers make me feel as if something is compressing my lungs, overly hot showers seem to smother me with their humidity. Even apart from that, I find both terribly uncomfortable on my skin.

Both Have their benefits in reality, hot being very soothing and relaxing and cold being very invigorating.

I can't stand cold showers but I don't to waste the electricity used to heat my water so I never touch the cold water tap to cool my showers back down. I have no issues with hot water.
