      Hi all,

Could you please tell me how I can move my downloads from Local "Download" folder in order to organize my files (e.g. in personal subfolders like Twinks, Blacks …) without interrupting seeding/upload for other users?

      Thanks a lot,

      Matt

You don't say what client you are using but in uTorrent stop your torrent, move the file where you want it and start your torrent and right-click and choose Advanced, Set Download Location.

I find it easier to choose where I want the files when I download rather than accept a default download folder

In µTorrent, you can move files directly with the "Advanced…" > "Set Download Location" option directly. It will take a little while until it will show as moved (depends on file size and transfer speed). No need to stop, move files and then direct µTorrent to the new location, then.

You can also copy files to new direction and when they're moved you can redirect torrent to new folder and after that delete old torrent. That way downloaders are waiting least time. At least that's what I'd do. Ok am doing.
