Is smoking a turn off?

I'm not opposed. As a former smoker, who has a cig or two when out drinking heavily, it's not that big of a deal breaker. I do like the fact that my clothes don't reek of smoke, but after traveling through Europe, to me, it really isn't that a big deal.

Plus, I do find smoking to be erotic at times. Hooked up with a guy who wanted me to service him while he smoked. That was a hot time!

I started vaping in efforts to keep up with smoking… it's still legal and relatively unregulated in my country... but now I'm addicted to vaping.. sigh

Where does vaping fall on the spectrum of love/hate from you guys?

Only a little bit of a turn off, generally not a deal breaker for me ( would likely not even mention it)

The only exception to what I've said above is if he's a heavy smoker I can see that getting to me…

It never worked out well in the long term.

I can stand it for a while but I end up being neurotic, I really dislike the smell.

Stop smoking is complex for the withdrawal symptoms and the psychological difficulties.
You cannot stop being gay or black.

I understand that's a provocation, but do not confuse things too much.
Think, quitting smoking is a form of respect for yourself and your body !

Let's not fall into the trap of political correctness,
so you do not say to someone with a health issue to improve condition for fear of being offensive.
Say it and help them.

My nose is really sensitive to smells, every non clean smells are turn of for me. So cigarette is for me a turn off… but i won't make it a specific criteria to chose someone.

It's a turn off for me. I can taste the lingering scent, even if the person brushed their teeth or chewed gum to eliminate it.

But I don't hate the scent of pure tobacco when it's burnt, for some reason…

Ironically, I find it extremely hot when one of my boys do it. But I hate breathing in smoke by random strangers, I always frown and cover my face in disgust so clearly that they see it cuz I like smoke shaming.

For some odd reason, boys smoking can be hot. As porn. In reality, NO. It smells bad. I can say this as an ex-smoker (25+ years now).
