I cannot use a phone that lacks the "good old way" 3,5 jack
        and I'm an Apple fag

Google Pixel all the way… Apple has a tendency of planned obsolescence. In some cases, Apple will go so far as to inject code into your phone to begin to break down after the initial warranty is up in order to attempt to force you to continue to buy into their products. It's kind of sad that they still to this day continue to employ such crooked methods to attempt to increase their revenue stream.

Is it a rumour or a fact ?

I always thought that the decline in performance in the devices over the years was a result of Moore's Law,
intentionally protracted integrating computationally heavy features into iOS,
but also necessary to have a homogeneous system & SDKs.

Injecting code seems like a bit extreme to me xD

Would still prefer iOS to the confusion of the Android code: elegance vs natural selection.
Being sure to receive updates is also in favour of iPhone and a consequence of the design of the device ecosystem.
Since Google Pixel is branded(TM), it's still a viable option in this sense.

Lets just say that I know things about Apple that I shouldn't know because I used to date (and am still good friends with) an Apple employee who spends a lot of their time in their software end of things. It's kind of sad to say, but Apple will eventually attempt to force you into upgrading your phone. I've seen it countless times now.
