Best time of the week for freeleech

What's the best time of the week to get the max out of my points and declare a freeleech that will be enjoyed by the maximum amount of users? More concretely, in what hours of the week does GayTorrent.ru experience peaks in traffic or visitors or sessions or in number of searches?

I would think that it would be Friday night to Sunday evening as most would have the time to leave the uploading and downloading on.

Would agree that weekend seems to be the best time- Saturday and Sunday would be good days with more traffic. Of course the mods would probably know best answer.

I also feel the “weekend” is the best time.

It’s just a matter of trying to figure whose weekend to target, taking into account the different time zones across the world.

Internet access, and trying to determine which global regions have the most connections, is another thing to think about.

Not to mention–what I consider as being the most import factor--establishing where your “customer base” resides.

Daily, most users are online in the afternoon 16:00 UTC into the late night. On a weekly cycle, Saturdays are strongest, Sundays and Fridays are close. Tuesday is lowest day. Variation is from simple to double amount of users being online.

Those indicated times / days reflect in all kind of activities: torrent downloads, picture views, bonus points exchanged or new uploads etc…

Thanks Popper for your authoritative confirmation! I could have guessed "saturday", but not 16 UTC.

As Ellis points out, one still needs to consider which timezone's saturday to consider, among other things.
