meindallas, there is a difference between a DCMA takedown and a duplicate.

Amusingly someone posted the complete set of the one I posted that was taken down. That lasted a few weeks but I see it has disappeared now.

Posted a torrent some months ago, it had a few dozen downloads. I got a notice this morning saying it had been taken down.

I understand that. My complaint/rant about it was that I got the DCMA notice, and then like magic, the same thing appeared uploaded by someone else. I guess I wouldnt of said anything about it, other than the torrent I had uploaded, wasnt something you see a lot of on this site. So it did look a little suspicious to me if I'm being honest. I know the difference between duplicates and DCMA.

I'm not saying anything against the moderators of the site. I know they have a really tough job at hand, in which they arent getting any compensation whatsoever. Just like me, I do not get paid as well for any of my uploads, and most of the time I do not even receive a thanks.

I do however get lectured on a regular basis about my uploads, and what they are missing, and why it is that I dont do more work on them, or give more information, or screen caps. I just ignore that type of stuff. It's irritating beyond belief, especially from someone that has a ratio showing they are about to be cut off from downloading. (If you have a good ratio I'm not talking about you)

Sorry for ranting, I didnt mean any disrespect to anyone. I just wish that everyone would sit and think about us uploaders and what we go thru and do, to SHARE with everyone. IT IS A LOT OF WORK!! I dont do it to fix my ratio because I dont need to. I do it because I want to share what I have, and I do have a ton of stuff that has never been seen here on this website since I've been on it. As an uploader, it does make me think twice about sharing anything, when sometimes all I get it criticism. I see a lot of uploaders talking about this in the forums. It does get very old. I see a lot of requests, and I get a lot of reseed requests thru the system that I just ignore.

But I agree with the rest of your 'rant' and it is the main reason I rarely post here anymore.

And I dislike seeing people demand things in the comment box while never thinking of saying thanks while they are there.

My usual response is to ask the moaner to send me his address and I'll refund his money!

I understand what you are saying about certain things meindallas. And it usually seems to be the issues do come from people who have not shared/have low ratio's. I was posting one series right along and think I was on episode 8 and didn't include that the main character way Gay. By episode 8 if you didn't realize that and or look at the first 7 episodes sorry. They just pissed me off so I deleted all off the episodes I posted. Might sound childish on my end but just irked me.

I also dont want to become jaded but Im also tired of answering peoples questions and then they dont respond with a thank you. But has made me less hesitant in helping others out unless I know them and or know that they have contributed in one form or another. My turning point was one person giving my about 100 Thumbs Down at anything I posted. Pretty much since then I have lost interest in the topic boards but still sharing videos.

Still posting vids and such just taking a breather from the forums for a bit. I had a person send me an email that I was spamming the forums. That made me laugh and mad at the same time. Told him I dont need the points mate.But wanted to know what he has shared as it didn't look like much. I guess its the mentality of forums that gets to me.
