When i was 16, i noticed that it was always up and ready before i was. One weekend, i mused, "What if, every time it stands up, i'll whip it." And so, as the day progressed, it stood up; i whipped it, and noted the time. Initially, the time span was about 1 hour.
As time passed, that half hour went to 20 minits; 15; 10… and by about 1800, it was down to 6. Doing the math, that comes (pun intended) to about 15 times. By that time, my tool was sore and i had to ignore the next uprising.
That was 60 years ago, and now my daily is about .3, or 3 times a week.
